The Arizona Hemophilia Association (AHA) depends on the generous financial support of individual donors and corporate sponsors to provide essential programs, services, and activities and to provide funding for research. There are numerous donation opportunities for individuals and companies. We invite you to support the AHA. Our current gift programs are listed below and we are always happy to discuss other support opportunities!
The Arizona Hemophilia Association has been certified as a
Qualifying Charitable Organization by the Arizona Department of Revenue.
A qualifying charitable organization is a charitable organization that is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or is a designated community action agency that receives community services block grant program monies pursuant to 42 United States Code Section 9901. Further, the organization must spend at least fifty (50) percent of its budget on services to Arizona residents who receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) benefits or to Arizona resident low-income households or to chronically ill or physically disabled children who are Arizona residents.
What does this mean for you?
The state of Arizona offers all residents the exciting opportunity to support the Arizona Hemophilia Association through the
Arizona Tax Credit program. By redirecting your tax credit to AHA, you can support our programs and services.
This is a credit on your income taxes, which means you get every dollar back on your state return, whether you owe money to the state or the state owes you! You can also use the tax credit as a deduction on your federal income taxes. For 2017, single income tax filers may redirect $400 to AHA; joint filers may redirect $800. Please contact us if you did not receive a receipt for your tax filing purposes.
General donations are always encouraged and will be used as unrestricted funds for programs and services as needed. You can also designate which programs should benefit from your donation. Make a contribution in honor of or in memory of a loved one today!

If you’d prefer not to donate online, please make your check payable to AHA and mail to 826 N 5th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85003.
You can use AHA’s secure online donation system to make a contribution with your credit card.
Just click on the Donate Now button located in the upper right hand corner throughout the website.

Employee Giving Programs and Matching Programs
Matching contribution programs are offered by several companies in an effort to encourage charitable giving. A matching gift program is a way to double the impact of your contribution to the Arizona Hemophilia Association. Ask your company’s personnel department if they participate in such a program.
When you make a future or planned gift, you help so many people. Remembering the Arizona Hemophilia Association in your estate plans or will directly impacts the lives of people living with hemophilia or other inherited bleeding disorders and their family members. You will also touch the lives of those who might someday be affected by a bleeding disorder. Arrangements can be made to leave a legacy in your will for the Arizona Hemophilia Association. We have partnered with the charity Cars 4 Causes. Cars 4 Causes will accept your used car donations. With your donation, you will receive a receipt for an IRS tax deduction and hassle-free towing.
