April 8th, 2021
8:30am – 12pm
Join us as we virtually meet with local Arizona legislators to share stories of the bleeding disorder community and ask for their support!
Let your voice be heard and give yourself the chance the tell your story and make an impact for your family and our community! It’s important to have our legislators hear from you. This opportunity gives our community a chance to be heard and influence legislation that affects our families!
A training for the meetings will be conducted
April 7th from 6:30pm – 7:30pm.
We would be more than willing to provide
a letter for those who would like to take the
day off from school to participate.
This event is open to the Arizona Bleeding Disorder community and those who would be interested in advocating on their behalf.
Legislative Day is a day at the state capitol where we set up legislative appointments for our members to meet with their legislators. We also have a lunch on the capitol lawn for our community to meet with the legislators to have an opportunity to make them aware of the needs of our bleeding disorder community.
March is National Bleeding Disorder Awareness Month. The Governor of Arizona has also designated March as Bleeding Disorder Awareness Month in Arizona.
If you are unable to attend the event, here is how you can reach out to your legislator year round:
1) Find your district: https://azredistricting.org/districtlocator/
2) Find your legislator (by your district): https://www.azleg.gov/memberroster/
3) Call or email to address legislative concerns that would affect you and the bleeding disorder community.
